How to Crochet the Arcade Stitch

Written Directions for the Arcade Stitch:
I am using a Lykke Crochet Hook and Cozy Alpaca Yarn
(H-8/5mm and medium 4 weight yarn)

Multiples of 6+1
R1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, *Ch 3, skip 3 chs, 1 sc in each of the next 3 chs, repeat from *, ending 1 sc in each of last 2 chs, turn.

R2: ch 1, skip first sc, *skip 1 sc, 5 dc in ch3-space, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in next sc, repeat from *, ending 1 sc in ch 1, turn.

R3: ch 3, skip [1 sc,1 dc], *1 sc in each of the next 3dc, ch 3, skip [1 dc,1 sc,1 dc], repeat from *, to last group, 1 sc in each of 3 dc, ch 2, skip 1 dc, 1 sc in ch 1, turn.

R4: ch 3, skip first sc, 2 dc in ch2-space, *skip 1 sc, 1 sc in next sc, skip 1 sc, 5 dc in ch3-space, repeat from *, ending 3 dc under ch 3, turn.

R5: ch 1, skip first dc, 1 sc in next dc, *ch 3, skip [1 dc,1 sc,1 dc], 1 sc in each of the next 3 dc, repeat from *, ending 1 sc in last dc, 1 sc in the top of the chain 3, turn

Repeat rows 2-5
