WhatsApp does not store contact in its application. So, if you want to delete WhatsApp contact then you have to delete it from the phone itself. But what you can do is you can clear the chat with the contact or you can archive them. Open WhatsApp.
Now let me tap on the calls.
It will show me the list of the call logs. So, if I want to clear it I will tap on “Edit”.
Then I will select “Clear” and the call logs will be deleted.
Also if you want to clear the chat history or hide the chat history for a particular contact, select it.
Then swipe to the left.
If you want to delete chat then tap on “more” and then either select clear chat or delete chat.
If you just want to hide the chat then you can select “Archive”.
