How to Enhance Your Natural Waves or Curls | Quick and Easy Technique/Hairstyle | Beginner Friendly

I first started wearing my hair naturally during my early-mid 20's. That was about 6 or 7 years ago! Prior to learning how to style my natural wave pattern, I straightened my hair almost everyday for at least a decade. In the beginning of my natural hair journey, I cut out everything cold turkey. I stopped dying my hair, ceased using all products, and just observed what my natural hair did. My roommate at the time questioned why I wouldn't put any products in it because it was frizzy and dry. Aside from wanting to observe my hair in it's natural state- I was also a little lost and didn't know how or where to begin. After some time, I began trying new products to contain the frizz and maintain moisture, but I still struggled with bringing extra life into my hair. One day, I was getting my haircut by a hair dresser who had naturally curly hair- it was long, voluminous, and defined. I grew up around hair dressers because my mom worked front desk at a salon and based on my experience, it was very rare to see a hairdresser who fully embraced her natural locks without dye or heating tools. She gave me a few tips on how to enhance my natural waves that worked very well for me which I will be sharing with you today! If you are just starting your hair journey and struggling with frizz and definition, don't be discouraged. It will take some time, but you are able to retrain your hair.
