Description from the creator

This is my method to feed sourdough starter and at the end of the video I have added a tip on keeping a backup culture.

Pour off the excess starter (discard) and save 4oz.(1/2 Cup) of sourdough starter to feed.
To Feed:
Add 4oz of water
4 oz (1 Cup) of all purpose flour
I use room temperature tap water but I do filter it to remove the fluoride. The discard starter can be used in recipes or saved in the refrigerator.

If left at room temperature feed every 12 hours or store in the refrigerator for up to a week between feedings.
