Open the prayer to God the Eternal Father
Thank Him that your item is lost
Ask Him to help you find it
End the prayer in the name of the Savior Jesus Christ.

For Example:
Heavenly Father
We Thank Thee that our item is lost
We Ask Thee to help us find our lost item.
In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
