When it’s time to let one of your team members go, you may wonder how to fire an employee while maintaining integrity for you, dignity for them, and creating the least amount of stress possible for everyone. Maybe you need to fire an employee during their probation period, or maybe they’ve been with you a long time. Whatever the case, to fire an employee nicely you also need to know how not to fire an employee. Termination of employment is an uncomfortable situation for both the entrepreneur and the employee being let go, but dismissing an employee can be done gracefully and respectfully.
