How do you get a duplicate title for a
vehicle that's coming from another state?

dot com if you purchase a car from
another state


and it's missing a title the title
history of that car is going to be


maintained at the state level so


if you go into your state's DMV then I
could have any record that vehicle to go


back to where it came from


all support to know that even if the
vehicle came from another state


unless it was actually titled and
registered in that state


even that location won't have a record
of it so


wanna make sure you understand where the
vehicle


was last titled and registered what
state DMV


or Department transportation had the
records on it


which is where a new title duplicate
would be issued from


if that title is issued in your name you
can go back to that state if it's not


your name you may need to do a data
recovery


but if you are there legal owner and the
registered owner


you can't just walk into the state where
you located now you have to make sure go


to where


that vehicles last title if you have
