How to get cut attack in Pokemon fire verision

How do you cut down trees in a "Pokemon FireRed" version?
You have to get the Hidden Machine 01 - Cut.

First, go to Bill’s house which is located about north east of Cerulean City. Enter his house, and you’ll see something that looks like a Pokémon. Talk to it and you find out that it’s Bill. Help Bill get back to human state with his machine.

After you assist him, Bill will give you an S.S. Ticket. This can be used to board the S.S. Anne in Vermillion City.

After getting on the boat, you can battle lots of trainers and I recommend you do this before getting cut. It’s free experience and after you get cut, the boat depart and you can’t battle the trainers anymore. After you’re done battling everyone, head to the right from the boat’s entry point. You should probably heal before this.

You’re going to run into your rival and have a battle with him. He’ll have four Pokémon with him.

Pidgeotto, Raticate, Kadabra, and the second stage of whatever starter he chose.

Beat him and you can start heading towards the captain’s room. Keep on going right and you’ll find it, it’s the only room.

Once you enter the room, the speak with the captain. Go through all the dialogue and the captain will give you cut.

Remember that you need the Cascade Badge to use it outside of battle. Make sure you beat Misty!
