Hey Dads,

Are you trying to figure out how to get mini DV tapes on computer? I have a bunch of old Mini DV tapes and I was trying to figure out how to get them onto my computer because I wanted to back them up using Google Photos.

I use a Macbook Pro, and I bought a firewire to DV cord to transfer my mini dv tapes to my mac. If you have a newer mac, you will also need a Firewire to thunderbolt adapter, which you can find here: geni.us/pz4MF on Amazon (commissions earned)

How many DV tapes do you have that you need to transfer? I had about 30 tapes. Let me know in the comments below!

This is my authentic, unedited unboxing & first look review of the DV to Firewire cord that I used to get mini dv tapes on computer. If you like my review videos, consider subscribing, and let me know in the comments what you want this dad to review next.
