Description from the creator

A number of you had asked me about the mushrooms I was cultivating out in the community garden, so I decided to do a little vlog back in the springtime when I was getting a whole flush of King Stropharia mushrooms.

Cultivating mushrooms—particularly this variety—is so easy to do and they're like a gift that keeps on giving! I mean, just look at this flush! Oh and in this video, I misspoke: I said the spawn contains the spores of the mushroom, but it's really the mycelium. That is the vegetative cells of the mushroom and they form mycorrhizal networks with the plant roots.
