autoreconf --force --install
rm -rf build/

make && sudo make install

step 1: ### To activate i3 gaps resizing ###
mod+shift+g
step 2: ### tap (o) or (i) to select gaps to resize ###

step 3: shift+ (-) or (+) to make changes

step 4: esp button to exit
