Description from the creator

This is my own way on how to make a bassoon reed from start to finish. Please keep in mind that everything in these videos can vary, depending on teacher preference, climate, and personal preference. Every bassoonist has different reeds, and thus a different way to make reeds. This video includes an overview on cane, shaping, profiling, scoring, forming, wrapping, and tip cutting. I do bevel, which is the process between forming and wrapping, but the video screwed up so I can’t include it. I am also a student, so I have much to learn as well. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected], or leave a comment below. Like & subscribe, and follow me on Instagram: @morganpracticesbassoon! Please enjoy!
