Grass heads are a great way for children to learn about the plant life cycle (science!).
As the grass head grows, children can record their observation in a graph and see how the life cycle changes (maths!).
Once the grass head grows, the "hair" can be styled using scissors.
This grass head activity encourages students to become inquiry-based learners
through scientific observation.
Suitable for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 but can be adapted for Foundation Stage.
