Description from the creator

Hello Friends!

This week I made the bane of my existence. The Long Island Iced Tea.

I can’t count how many of these I make every weekend because people are scared of a creative - admittedly not overly creative though - house curated cocktail menu.

I think it’s such a boring, cop out and is usually ordered by meatheads that think they are going to get fucked up really fast.

I’ve opted for NOT bottom shelf spirits to make it bearable.
Don’t use a sweet and sour mix. Lemons are everywhere and sugar syrup is easy to make. I used Maple Syrup because I am Canadian and I like it.

Here’s the specs again:

15ml Stolichnaya Vodka
15ml Rooster Rojo Blanco Tequila
15ml Stolen White Rum
15ml Gin Mare Mediterranean Gin
15ml Cointreau
7.5ml Maple Syrup (sugar syrup is fine)
7.5ml Lemon Juice

Coke… from a can.

Build and shake quickly, strain over ice and coke if you want it to look pretty and float.

Traditionally you could probably mix the coke and spirits to make it look like iced tea and last a little longer… I had one person bring the cocktail back to the bar once because “ I can’t taste any alcohol! Theres supposed to be heaps of alcohol but I can’t taste it!” I said sweetheart, the booze was floating on top of the coke, you’ve sipped all the coke through your straw…

Good times.

Thanks for watching folks, comment, smash the like and subscribe buttons if you laughed, watch my other videos if you want to laugh more.

Cheers!

Drew
