How to make a pattern for a graph ghan

This is a video for a free website where you can make a pattern using your own image to make a graph ghan. Like many crocheters starting out youtube was my go to for videos on new stitches and projects but I couldn't seem to find anything that explained how to make a pattern for this short of drawing a picture on graph paper or just adding a graph to the picture via paint on my computer. This program is sooo much easier. Let me know what you think in the comments and I apologize for the sound and shakiness I was using my phone.
