Learn how to make your yard even friendlier to our amphibian populations! Here is what you can do help the toads of coastal NC by making a toad abode.

Toads are amphibians that help keep our insect populations in check. They are cold-blooded animals that are always looking for a nice cool place to hide and camouflage. You can make your toad abode using materials from your yard like rocks and sticks or even some clay pots. Don't forget to give them so nice decorations to make the perfect "Home Sweet Home".

Listen for amphibians calling in the spring and see how many you can hear!
