Hot To Make an Appletini

Hi, I’m Damian Bartender over liquid Kitty in West LA California and we’re gonna talk about Apple Martini.

Local History will say that a guy named Adam Kirsten created this drink in 1997 rollers Fairfax just south of Santa Monica Boulevard and if it’s true or not cheers for you Adam for making that drink it becomes very popular over the years, it’s kinda weighed a little bit recently but if that's true that Adam made it over there with some fresh slices of Apple in it and some fresh ingredients. Now a days it’s not made as often as it used to be and here at the Kitty we don’t use fresh ingredients we because we don’t have a kitchen, we make it the old fashion way or the old fashion way spring, using the ingredients that we have in the bar.

So for you purposes we’re just gonna use Ketel one Vodka, a little sweet and sour and Apple Pucker Schnapps. So it’s about two parts Vodka and one part each and the sweet and sour good that green color and then a little shake. Here in Kitty we always have cold martini glasses on hand we garnish it with the cherry because we don’t have apples here and then you just strain it on your Martini glass.
