How to Make Faux Leather Earrings With A Cricut Explore

In this video I share how to make faux leather earrings with the Cricut machine.
There are many places to get faux leather. My favorite 4 places are on the Cricut website, on Amazon.com, Etsy, and Hobby Lobby. In the video I share how I made the DIY earrings using Hobby Lobby faux leather ribbon and faux leather that I got on Amazon.

You can find many FREE SVG cut file templates for leather earrings on Pinterest. I mostly use those or cut files that I purchase on Etsy. Here is the one that I used for this project:

I use a Cricut Explore to make my earrings. It's great because you can cut faux leather and you can cut real leather on the Cricut explore. The Cricut project in this video doesn't require a deep cut blade. You can just use the regular fine cut blade when working on faux leather diy projects. If you do a project cutting leather on a Cricut machine, you'll need to use a deep cut blade.

You will also need some basic jewelry supplies to put the earrings together. I found a great kit awhile back on Amazon and I still love it. I just restock it when needed. It came with all the DIY earrings supplies that I needed to complete the faux leather earring project.
