In this video we are going to show you how to make ice cream in a bag. Homemade ice cream is delicious and very easy to make. For older kids you can make this do-it-yourself treat into a fun chemistry lesson on the changes of matter and freezing point deprivation.

You will need:

1/2 cup whipping cream (half and half or milk is ok)
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 tbs sugar
1/3 cup of rock salt (kosher salt or ice cream salt ok) goo.gl/WPp8aN (affiliate)
3 cups crushed ice
1 sandwich zip lock bag
1 gallon zip lock bag


Optional:

Chocolate powder or hot coco mix
Fruit
Sprinkles
