How to make milk kefir taste good
ChannelMeditating Mama - Holistic Health CounsellorDescription from the creator
Want to know how to make milk kefir taste good?
In this video I'm going to give you one quick idea on how you can up the ante in both flavour and nutrients.
If you checked out my other video on the difference between water kefir and milk kefir (youtube.com/watch?v=oGUiEm4PWE4&t=3s), you would know that milk kefir kicks some serious probiotic butt compared to kombucha and water kefir. Not in to dairy - that's ok, you can have the dairy free option!
⇒ Don’t forget to Subscribe and hit the bell if you don’t want to miss out on my gut health series covering topics like;
• Leaky gut, IBS, allergies
• Resuscitating your grains that are turning to sludge
• Recipes for making delicious probiotic drinks
• Fermented food recipes
• How to grow your grains quicker
• Why ferments fail
I will also be releasing great life hacks on how to gain better;
- emotional wellbeing,
- physical wellness (through diet and exercise)
- spiritual (or heart centred) connection.
You may even want to check out my last video on Prosperity and self-worth (youtube.com/watch?v=NJN_q1KYkjY) or a Simple breathing technique for relaxation (youtube.com/watch?v=FD1wpiVxqH4&t=2s).

Important Notes:
1. If you’re trying the dairy-free option, remember to rest your grains in cows’ milk around once a week (or every 3-6 ferments depending on weather and regularity).
2. Making your milk kefir taste good is a personal experience. If you don’t like tart then strain the liquid earlier, say in the first 24 – 48 hours. If you like it very fermented you can leave it longer.
3. You can rest your grains in the milk in the fridge when you want to take a break from fermenting.
