An episode from the TV series Being Malcolm in which the late cultural iconoclast, fashion designer, visual artist and musical performer and composer discusses the design for bondage trousers, created in 1976 and sold in Sex and Seditionaries, the shops he operated at 430 King's Road with Vivienne Westwood.

These were worn by McLaren's charges the Sex Pistols and are still reproduced in their hundreds of thousands today.

The 10 chapters of Being Malcolm were written and performed by McLaren and broadcast by the French channel Canal Jimmy in 2000. The Being Malcolm episode Shoppertainment was the recipient of the prestigious Ithème award.
