How to make wire wings (bee wings)

This was my way of doing wire wings for my Bee costume. Of course I designed the two together, so the wings don't work without the costume. However, I think you can at least get an idea of how you can use these (or similar) materials to achieve something of the like.

I do not recommend to spray paint the duct tape, because the paint rubs off the more you use them, but I had no choice since I ran out of the tape.

For these particular wings It's okay to use elastic to hold them in place, since the wire I used is not too heavy, but I have learned from previous experiences that there is a weight limit for elastic to work. So' keep those wings light!
