Hi guys! I'm Philip English from RoboPhil.com. Now on this video, we're looking to teach you on how to begin programming your NAO robot how to dance. The wide works in Aldebaran's choreograph program allows you allows you to record and position key frames so NAO can move from post to post. If you combine these motions on the timeline, you can get your NAO up-down-sit.
In this video how to create key frames for making the NAO do these sprinkler clap.
Hi guys! Let's have a look at how we're going to get out NAO robot to the dance the sprinkler dance.
So, what we do is to take a look at our NAO first. There he is. And let's do a quick normal check to make sure he's connected. So, how we do this is that we have to create some key frame motions for now and we do this first while creating special box. If you right click into the screen, slide down and go to add new box. You'll get the create box to dialogue box pop out. Then if you come down to type of box, you have three different types - you have script type, timeline and flow diagram. So, what we want to do is we want the timeline box because when we create a timeline box and we click into it, we get the timeline editor at the top. So, you can see that it popped out at the top and has a key frame editor. This is how we can get our NAO to do his dances.
The currently run through a bit of theory of it, the timeline is used to really modify its individual key frame. So, if I put on my mouse over here and I right click, you can see that I can set joints on key frames. And if you guys are down here then you can see that there's a set joints key frame whole body, head, arms and legs. This is where our consecutive specific joints to the key frames.
