How to Pay Your Bills with RushCard

In this video, we’ll show you how to pay your bills with your RushCard to make sure your bills are paid on time.

Paying your bills using your Prepaid Visa® RushCard is easy and has no extra cost. You can pay anyone including the phone company and your landlord!

To get started, go to RushCard.com and login to your card account. Select “Send Money” and then “Pay Bills”. If this is your first time using your RushCard to pay your bills, you must agree to the terms and conditions, and then select “Get Started”. Then select “My Payees” and in the “Add a Payee” section, in the “Search By Name” box, enter the name of the company you’d like to pay (we call them the Payee), and then select “Add Payee”. Choose the option that matches the name of the payee, and add in your payee account number, found on your bill. Click VALIDATE PAYEE, and you’ll be shown the Payee Information—make sure that the address and the category match the bill, and then click “Add Payee”. Next, select “Make a Payment” and choose the Payee you’d like to pay. Enter the payment amount, and select when you’d like the payment to be made. You can select “Schedule Recurring Payment”, and you can select how often and on what day you’d like the payee to receive the payment. Click “Submit Payment” and you’re all set!

To see the scheduled payment, choose the “View Payment Activity” button on the screen and you’ll see your Pending Payments. To cancel the payment you set up, select the “Cancel Payment” button then click the “X” next to your payment.

Now, if you want to make a payment to a new payee who is not listed in our system, such as your landlord, select “My Payees” and then “Add a custom Payee”. Enter the payee’s name, address, and account number. Follow the steps for entering the payment amount and frequency, and choose “Submit Payment”—and you’re all set—the person will be mailed a check from RushCard—how cool!
