Description from the creator

Choosing the right real broker to launch or grow your career requires serious preparation before you ever sit down across the table from a managing broker. As a Dallas real estate team leader who has hired key staff and interviewed at numerous brokerages over the years, I want to give you four essential rules to master your brokerage interviews. First, do your homework ahead of time and narrow down your list. You do not need to interview at every office in town. Research their specific office vibe, whether they focus on residential, commercial, leasing, or investments, and whether they target luxury listings or first-time buyers. Second, position yourself as a distinct asset before walking in. Explain what value, leads, work ethic, or energy you bring to their firm instead of just asking what they can give you. Third, know exactly what you need from them, including training programs, technology tools, mentor support, lead distribution, commission splits, and desk fees. Fourth, remember that an interview is a two-way street. Bring a targeted list of questions to ask the broker so you can evaluate if their culture matches your business goals. I even offer a free downloadable interview question checklist on my website to help you prepare. Comment below on how your brokerage interviews went.
