Here is a friendly reminder about how to dispose of batteries. Take them down to household hazardous waste and we will safely recycle them for you. ⁣⁣Please separate out all batteries when you take them in.

Alkaline batteries are just fine in your trash bin. Bring down lithium batteries, car batteries, button batteries, and rechargeable batteries to household hazardous waste. If you throw them in your trash, they could start a fire and injure one of our truck drivers. ⁣

NEVER EVER throw any battery into your blue recycle bin. ⁣
⁣
Let us know if you have questions about how or where to drop off household hazardous waste. ⁣
