FRESH BREAST MILK
Room temperature (66-78’F)/(19-26’C), Up to 4-6 hours
Insulated cooler with ice packs (59’F)/(15’C), Up to 1 day
Refrigerator (39’F)/(4’C), 3-5 days

THAWED BREAST MILK
Refrigerator Up to 24 hours (Do not re-freeze it)

FROZEN BREAST MILK
Freezer (0-4’F)/(-18’C) 3- 6 months
Deep freezer (0-4’F)/(-18’C) or less 6-12 months

FEW THINGS TO NOTE:

1. Store milk in 2-6 ounce portions. Date milk before storing.
2. Thaw slowly in fridge (it will take about 12 hours –leave milk at night in refrigerator before you need it)
3. For faster thawing: hold milk under running water-use cool water and gradual increase temp
4. Do not boil breast milk
5. Never microwave breast milk or heat directly on store
6. Never shake breast milk, swirl it.

Thank you in advance
Sincerely
