Recommendation from our Experience now as of August 21, 2018. USE A SUBMERSIBLE, AFFLUENT PUMP. Not one that is put into the sludge but above in the water section. The pump mentioned in this video DID work, but only for a short time. It tends to get clogged to the next time you want to use it, you have to clean it out prior to starting as it gets jammed. To solve that problem I purchased this pump: amzn.to/2N4EvLP a 1/4 HP Thermoplastic Submersible Utility Pump. The KEY being Submersible. The pump shown in this video uses suction to PULL up the fluids. The submersible one in this link PUSHES the affluent OUT which is much better and it has a LARGER opening / intake and output ports which can accommodate larger chunks of "crap" or paper.
