How to Replace Toilet Flapper Install New Actuator Disc Fix Stop Toilet From Running Amazon Link amzn.to/2DhPUpL Is your toilet running? The most common cause of a leaky toilet is a toilet flapper valve that isn't seating or sealing properly at the bottom of the tank. Replacing a toilet flapper valve is a simple fix. Save money on your water bill with a toilet that flushes and works correctly. Not all flappers are the same, this toilet uses an actuator disc flapper valve. Take the old flapper to the store with you so you can be sure the new one will fit. Shut off the water to the toilet. Remove the lid from the tank, and flush the toilet to remove as much water as possible. Pull off the old flapper, push on the new one. Turn the water back on, and flush the toilet a few times, the new flapper valve should form a tight seal.
