This is a detailed explanation of how to reset the pin and reprogram your genie Intellicode garage door opener keypad. Watch the video first, then follow along to make the changes in real time. If you wait too long between some of the steps, they do no work.

UPDATE: If this is not working for you, try omitting the step where you hold down the 3 buttons (program, 6, up/down) and start by hitting 3, 5, 7, program. Thanks to viewers for pointing out that this worked for them.

UPDATE#2: I no longer live in this house or have access to this model so I’m afraid I can’t answer any questions or provide any additional help. If I had to do this again, I’d definitely have to watch this video to figure it out. Good luck!!!
