How to revive a dying aloe Vera plant

In this video I show how to revive a dying aloe Vera which has turned brown in colour.

I start by removing the aloe Vera from the soil ensuring not to damage or break the roots

I then wash the roots to remove some of the soil

Using 2 empty plastic bottles which have been washed

Plastic bag is used to place on one of the bottle necks and then the aloe Vera is transferred to this so that just the roots are showing

It’s is then placed in the other plastic bottle where water is added and the roots only are in water

I will be doing another video in 5-7 days to show the improvement in the plant and the leaves starting to return to there normal green colour

I will leaving the plant in water for around 6 weeks and keep updating a video weekly so show the plant growing in water with new roots being grown and the leaves becoming thicker and stronger. The plant can be kept longer in water to grow Aswel but I will re-pot in soil after 6 weeks
