How to season firewood very fast.

By shaving the bark, you'll reduce the seasoning process/time, significantly. I've been doing this for several seasons and have noticed when the bark was remove, the firewood dried much faster vs those that bark was left on. You can use the top of your saw or hold it at a 60 degree angle to shave the bark, or use a sharp hatchet.

This method also beneficial in eliminating the insects/bores or terminate infestation in wood, which usually starts under the bark and goes deep in wood.

Always use caution when using the chainsaw. I would not recommend anyone who's not comfortable with chainsaws or new to chainsaws to use this method as, you'll have a higher chance of kick-back when de-barking the logs.
