Description from the creator

READ THE DESCRIPTION
Garden sulfur is elemental sulfur mixed with bentonite.
Elemental sulfur is soluble in hot toluene or xylene, but not very soluble when it's cold.
I got xylene from paint thinner and garden sulfur from an agricultural shop.
I used about 2-3 tablespoons of garden sulfur and 150 ml of xylene.
Unfortunately not all the sulfur from the mixture was separated, it already began to crystallize, and I ended up with only about one tablespoon of sulfur.

Important:
-Try to avoid a heating source with an open flame when boiling organic solvents (I only used one because I don't have a hotplate), for the obvious reason
-Once the solvent stops boiling (and the bentonite stops agitating), the sulphur will begin to crystalize, so you must collect it quickly
-Some suphur will remain in the solution, so it you want to completely extract it, you'll have to distil it
-When you dry the sulphur, try to avoid heating it too much, or the sulphur will melt.
