In this tutorial, I’m showing you, how to easily attach eyelets and grommets in stretchy fabrics. A patch of artificial leather is applied to the backside of the stretch fabric before setting the eyelet. The leather patch stabilizes the grommet and avoids that the stretchy fabric escapes from the eyelet upon pulling. This will also work for setting eyelets in very thin fabrics.
