VIDEO SUMMARY:

How To Stop Procrastinating And Get Stuff Done With A Sneaky BRAIN HACK!

Today's training video I talk about how to stop procrastinating and get stuff done with a sneaky brain hack!

We’ve all been there:

You start January with the best intentions.

You plan to get control of your diet, exercise more, get up early, be more productive.

Trouble is, most of those worthy goals melt away within the first couple of weeks, caught in the tides of everyday life, entrenched habit, and limited willpower.

You dig?

See your brain is programmed to resist change, especially big change!

So what can you do differently to ensure you stop procrastinating and get stuff done?

In the video, I share a simple (but effective) technique that’s completely changed how I establish new habits to improve my positivity, productivity and performance.

The brain hack is to take small steps. Smaller the better.

Taking small steps effectively rewire your nervous system so that it does the following:

1. “unsticks” you from apathy
2. Bypasses the fight or flight response and the need to procrastinate. Small change sneaks under the radar
3. Creates new connections between neurons so that the brain enthusiastically takes over the process of change and you progress rapidly toward your goal.

Small actions almost seemingly silly are never confrontational. Thus, it is the start to affect a complete result because you don’t experience any inner resistance (ie procrastination).

Example: want to lost weight, the first week just stand on the treadmill and drink your coffee. Next week walk on the treadmill for five minutes per day. The next week start a light jog on the treadmill for five minutes.

Are you starting to get this?

That’s how to stop procrastinating and get stuff done with a sneaky brain hack!

Enjoy the video :)

Until next time…

Best,
Colin
