How to Survive High School: Academics, Relationships, & Insecurities

High School 101 - Here is a summary of tips in this video for surviving high school:

1. Academics - work your butt off, do your homework, and focus more on what you can learn instead of just getting good grades (sorry, no real easy way around this one!).

2. Friends/Relationships - Practice being yourself. You may not always fit in with the "cool kids" and that's okay. Make friends, not enemies. Let awkwardness happen! It will ALWAYS happen. It's HIGH SCHOOL! Don't be afraid of rejection. That will happen too.

3. Extracurricular Activities - get involved with activities you enjoy or think you may enjoy - sports, music, dance, community service/special interest clubs, etc.! Push yourself. You'll thank yourself later.

4. Insecurities/Personal Struggles (Important) - E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E faces them; even the most "perfect" kids at school. High school is one of the most challenging times of most people's lives (myself included). Embrace the awkwardness and just live through you. You got this gurrll/boyy! :)
