Description from the creator

Hello Drinkers

Apologies for my husky /nasal tones in the video I have had flu :( but I wanted to get a video up and this is something I often get asked how can you tell if wine is corked?

I explain the things to look for in the aroma and in the taste. The compound which actually causes wine to become corked is called Trichloroanisole (TCA) is the natural compound that at higher levels can impart "musty" flavors and aromas to wines. This TCA would have come in contact with the cork and then when the wine is sealed it becomes 'corked'
