The Davy Knot is one of the quickest knots to tie. When you become proficient at tying this knot, you'll be able to tie on a new fly in as little as 20 seconds with very little extra line and hardly any waste.

Not only is this a great knot for competition anglers who need to get their flies back on the water as fast as possible, but for everyday anglers who are out on the river with hungry trout that are biting anything they see.

The longer you spend fiddling with your fly changes, the less chance you have of hooking into a beautiful hungry brown or brook.
