You should know that even though Mexico City is a huge metropolis, it is not that difficult to move around, especially because Metro and Metrobus that access to the business areas and main attractions of the city are so prevalent.
When I get to a new destination, I challenge myself to learn the transportation system. I find it a great way to save money on cabs and a great way to get to know locals and the city.
And remember... you can take the Metro and Metrobus to and from the airport.
