How To Wallpaper - Paste the Paper

This video aims to demonstrate the process of hanging Paste the Paper Wallpaper correctly:

00.14: Preparation - Check that all the batch number are the same, fill any cracks or holes, painted walls should be roughened with fine sandpaper, use a sponge to clean the wall to remove any dust, dirt or grease,

00.40: Pasting – Cut the first piece according to the height of the wall, allowing a margin at the top and bottom for trimming, use a plumb line or spirit level to ensure the position of the first length is vertical, generously paste an even coat of adhesive from the centre out ensuring edges are well covered,

01.23: Hanging - Line the first length up with the pencil line and allow extra paper for trimming, match the pattern by sliding into place, carefully wipe off any excess paste from the surface of the wallpaper with a clean sponge and clean water only.

02.11: Plugs and Sockets - Switch off the mains power in your home before starting! Trace the contour of the socket then X cut along the trim,

02.28: Internal corners -Apply your wallpaper and smooth into the corner of your wall,
