How to wash silk at home

Hey all! I have had lots of requests about how to wash your silk kimonos at home so I wanted to show you a short tutorial which includes a trick for drying it instantly! Any questions just let me know...

Simple rules to follow:
1. Use a bucket or sink with lukewarm water
2. Add a small drop of detergent and softer, the softer is great for the silk and makes it feel amazing
3. Leave to soak for 10 minutes giving it a stir, gently rub any stains
4. If you have stains leave for maximum 20 minutes
5. Roll into a towel to remove most of the moisture
6. You can then iron it by protecting the silk with an extra layer of fabric - this will dry the kimono instantly
7. You are good to go!

Alternatively you can hang the kimono to leave it to dry!
