A Party Popper shoots confetti high in the air by pulling on a small rope. In this video tutorial I explain step by step How to make one. The video ends with some nice slow motion shots from a Party Popper made in this tutorial.

When you want to give your party or celebration an extra dimension a Party Popper will do the trick. The best moments to shot one off is when nobody expects it. For sure you going to scare some people with the loud bang, but soon as they see the confetti it’s usually al good!

How does it work? The friction from pulling the rope ignites the Pyro Mix. The Pyro Mix burns really fast and creates a lot of hot combustion gases. Because the bottom of the tube is blocked the gases have no other way to go up. The confetti, stacked above the Pyro Mix, is forced out of the tube. The confetti goes easily 20 ft. high.
Tip: Instead of using ordinary confetti, use serpentine for a streamer effect.

- Pyro mix
- Firework tubes
- Some string
- Confetti
- Needle
-Cardboard
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Hobby knife
- Wood glue
