My TOP 5 Amazon FBA PRODUCT RESEARCH Methods for 2021! In this step by step product research tutorial, I'll show you how I find profitable products to sell on Amazon.

Product research in 2021 is going to be more challenging than ever before. Current global events are having a large impact on customers shopping habits, it is very difficult to know whether the estimated sales and prices we are seeing Amazon are a reliable indicator of what to expect long term.

These are my 5 favourite product research methods:

1) Negative Search - Unfortunately, my previous favourite way of finding products to sell on Amazon has now been blocked by Amazon, they no longer allow negative search parameters in the search bar.

2) Store Raider - When you find a product that is selling well on Amazon, make a note of the seller and then see what other products they sell. You will often find that a successful Amazon seller is making money on Amazon from multiple successful products.

3) Category Based Auto Suggest - You can use the search box auto-suggest to come up with products ideas that are in high demand. Start by entering one or two letters and Amazon will suggest a number of search terms for popular products. This method is even more powerful when used on subcategories and with whole words instead of just letters.

4) Order History - It is easier to improve products that we have first-hand experience with. Go through your Amazon order history, there are probably hundreds of different products that you have used and you may already be aware of ways you would improve them.

5) Keyword Lookup- I use Magnet from Helium 10 to research related product keywords, this often produces ideas that could be used to enhance the product and it can sometimes come up with alternative products for you to look into.

6) Get off Amazon - Start by taking a walk around your house, go into the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and look at all of the products you use - how could these be improved?
