This is a Quick Tip video showing how to anchor your fake aquarium plants if you don't have any substrate to bury them in. First, get some black aquarium suction cups (or whichever color blends in well with your background). Any type will work as long as you can tie fishing line to them. Next, tie a short length of clear fishing line to the suction cups. Finally, attach the plant to the other end of the fishing line. Make sure to tie it up tight so there's no loose fishing line your fish could get strangled in. You can easily put suction cups at each end of large plants to control their placement more precisely. In this way, plants can be attached to the bottom of your tank or to any of the side walls!
