How To Breed Platy

In this video I mention that after 10 days My platys already giving birth, It's because My platys are already pregnant. But originally it's need 2 or 3 weeks from breeding until giving birth. it depend on the environment and the water temperature itself. some case they just need 2 weeks to birth but in other case they need more than 3 weeks. it also depend on where you keep them while they breed, in shade area or direct sunlight, in noisy place or quiet place ...

but I prefer and recommended keep them in shade area, quiet place and in the tank must have aquatic plants to provide natural behavior. also you must separate the platys with another fish / shrimp species that may eat the frys.

and the last tips, I suggest use 1 male platy for 2-4 female platys to prevent the female injured.
