My baby bun here was from a farm where he was raised on wire bottomed cages, he didn't really understand were to go the washroom, clean himself or not to roll around in his own filth.
He was only cleaned when he was extremely dirty, and honestly didn't always hate the water. I had spoken to a vet and these are fine reasons to clean him. He also did learn how to properly clean himself and I didn't have to anymore.
He wasn't traumatized, he was still a bundle of fun and personality, and didn't revert into a sad little bunny.
