Description from the creator

Just a quickie showing how I personally set-up and house my feeder crickets. Obviously not everyone has the space for Medium/Large Faunariums but I make the space as the happier and healthier the crickets are, the better they are for my amphibians.
The care of livefood is (in my opinion) highly overlooked by many keepers. Some keep the tub if livefood the same as a tub of fishfood, ie don't feed them or give them space.
I'm not saying you can't keep them in the tub they come in, but feeding them enough and keeping condensation down is a fine balance (Condensation is what makes the tubs stink, causes mould and ultimately kills most of your crickets)

There are 'Cricket Keepers' on the market which are better than nothing, but in certain circumstances the tubes get so overcrowded, some die and the others can't get out and it gets messy. Plus generally they're not much bigger than the tub they come in. This is however, the best option if you can't stand touching bugs!
If space is an issue, then you can use a Small Faunarium, but it isn't ideal.
-------------
I get my faunariums from Wilko - tinyurl.com/bv7fqyr
The Bug Gel from Homebase - tinyurl.com/c4pf7wn
The Dogfood from Tesco - tinyurl.com/chy2tqv
The Cat Food from Asda - tinyurl.com/crvppzc
I get the Fish Sticks loose from Jollyes - tinyurl.com/d8qogla
The Fish Flake I use is from Pets @ Home - tinyurl.com/bp2hqdo
I get the egg-crate locally but people sell it on ebay etc
Oh and the forceps I use are from ebay too.

I give them Carrot, Potato, Apple, Orange & Cabbage. (I always use Organic Cabbage after locust deaths from the pesticide residue) Sometimes giving them leftover melon, lettuce, cucumber etc on rare occasions.

Please excuse the HitchHikers typo !! XD
