Description from the creator

This is my own personalized version of Birdie Bread. Our Congo African Grey Parrot is a very picky eater. Some may not agree with using this recipe considering Jiffy Mix Corn Bread Mix has sugar in it but this is loaded with fresh vegetables, This is our way of getting good stuff in him. There are many recipes on the www just do your own searchs and find what you like. My recipe is simple. 3 boxs of Jiffy Mix, 3 eggs, 2 TBSP peanut butter, 1/2 banana, 3-4 (or more) cups of shredded veggies. I used zuchini, yellow squash, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, broccoli slaw salad/slaw mix, parsnips, turnip, cooked sweet potato. you can add anything that is healthy (be sure to check the toxic list for birds) Use your own measurments,, and common sence. I use un sweetened applesauce to make it stirable.. add a little water if you want. You cant get this wrong.. if its too thin add more jiffy mix.. if its too thick add more applesauce or water. I bake it in mini muffin tins,. 18-22 min on 350. Pop out allow to cool and store in freezer in sandwich size freezer bags. I put 5 to a bag.
