How To Make Your Guinea Pig Love You: Ep.1 | Tips For Beginners | GuineaDad

Raising guinea pigs can seem like one-sided love sometimes, but worry not, guinea parent! Our piggies just show their affection differently compared to other pets like cats and dogs. Guinea pigs are prey animals, which means it's in their DNA to run and hide from any possible threat.

In this series, I'll be talking about 6 signs that you should look out for to know that your guinea pig loves you! If you're not quite there yet with your piggie, I'll also be sharing some GuineaDad tested and approved ultimate bonding tips to make things easier for beginners.

Episode one covers the first sign that your guinea pig loves you: they do not run or hide from you. That means they are no longer scared of you. Providing them with basic necessities and following an adjustment period plan are just some of my tips to conquer this first level of winning your piggie's heart. What level are you on with your guinea pig? Let us know in the comments~
