How To Put An English Saddle On Your Horse

Momo helps me show you how to saddle with an English close contact/jump saddle. I also show you how to keep the horse comfortable while saddling. Momo likes to make weird faces so that's just him on a regular day lol :-). Some key points: Horses can be sensitive with the girth so tighten slowly and not all the way at first. I tighten hole by hole. I have worked with a lot of sensitive ottbs and they seem happier doing it this way. Tighten the girth again before mounted so the horse has had a chance to get comfortable with the girth as they may have been bloating their belly. Make sure it is snug so when you go to mount the saddle doesn't slide off to the side. Hope this helps.
